Bound to Cebu Philippines

At Plantation Bay Cebu

Full of excitement on our arrival here at Mactan International Airport. The departure area is very basic compared to Manila Airport. But we ended up coming to Plantation Bay due to the Shangri la Spa and Resort being fully booked. No problem, it was an ideal resort back then. Hard to put in a few words how massive this resort is. The resort is busy, so book in advance. The staff are friendly to Filippino standards. There is a stack of activities, fishing, archery, child facilities and a tennis court. Plenty of lagoons and a small beach front. The rooms were clean and inviting, air con, well stocked bar. Most importantly a clean bath room. The resort is child friendly, plenty of night life.

The Kalesa Riding
For a unique experience, Plantation Bay offers free calesa (horse-drawn 2-wheeled carriage) trips around the property, which is charming and quite extensive. Plantation Bay is breathtakingly beautiful at night with beautiful lights accenting the landscaping and the wooden and bamboo catwalks, bridges, and piers that cross the pools

Other Pool Side Rooms

The Pool Side Rooms is a somewhat separate cluster of rooms and bungalows situated around a cool pool under shady trees and groves. The quite ambiance and cool colors are soothing for my eyes and soul. Built around a small quasi-private pool, (about 453sqm, 3ft deep, ideal for smaller children) these rooms have a friendly village feel suitable of all .  All rooms are equipped with 2 queen beds.

It's been a perfect vacation staying in this resort ever. And if given a chance, i would truly stay this resort again.
